SIM Style Compact Seals

The SIM style is a three-part compact seal consisting of a fabric reinforced elastomeric sealing body and two guide/backup rings as gap closing elements.
Applications:
The SIM compact seal is used as a piston seal for use in mining hydraulics, marine hydraulics, and it can also be used in medium and heavy mobile hydraulics.
Materials:
The inner sealing element is made of nitrile rubber (NBR) which is extremely wear-resistant and has a low compression set and high tensile strength. The guide/back-up rings are made from polyoxymethylene.
