FR0133-KO
  • AU (Polyurethane)
  • Standard Service Temperature: -65°F - +212°F

Exhibit high tensile strength, making them the toughest of the elastomers. Compression set and heat resistance are inferior to other elastomers such as nitrile. Recommened for us with Petroleum Fluids, Ozone, Abrasion Resistant, Drive Belts, Poor Compression Set

May be suitable for hydraulic applications which exhibit abrasive contaminants or shock loads.

*Polyurethane unlike other elastomers tend to revert or soften when exposed to over temperature situations).*

Not Compatible With: Hot Water, High Temperature, Brake Fluids, Acids

Shore A Description:

The hardness of rubber compounds is measured by the Shore A durometer; the higher the durometer, the harder the compound. Softer compounds stretch easier and seal better on rough surfaces. Harder compounds offer greater abrasion resistance and resistance to extrusion.

  • 60 Shore A is softer than 70
  • 70 Shore A is the standard
  • 90 Short A is very stiff
