WCP (Nylon Wiper)

Dust seals prevent entry of dust to protect equipment and maintain sealing performance. Select dust seals according to the type of of packings and operating conditions.

Type WCP acts both as a first class wiper ring and as a tough scraper, combining the gentle action of rubber with the durability of metal over a wide temperature range.  The wiper is manufactured from a specially developed semi-rigid yet resilient plastic composition.

WCP rings can be accommodated in annular recesses being pressed into position with its outer lip springing outwards behind a recess shoulder, leaving the inner flexible lip free to follow any side movements of the rods.

Operating Conditions:

• Working Temperature: -40°C to 100°C (-40°F to 212°F)
